I have a man card to show you today that I made for my brother's birthday recently. I began by die cutting a circle from the center of a piece of copy paper. Then taking some smooth white stamping card I applied Distress Inks through the aperture with a blending tool to form the sun. I think the colours I used were Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade and Barn Door. There may have some others as well, I can't quite remember. When I was happy with the colour and made sure it was dry, I stamped the ship with Archival Jet Black ink. I cut a mat from some dark red card using a Li'l Inker stitched rectangle die and then trimmed the image to fit leaving a border all round. I stuck these together and then stamped the greeting in the lower corner and added a small helm charm, attaching it with a small matching brad. Both stamps I used are from Chocolate Baroque. The base card is made from a sheet of camel coloured card, similar in colour to Kraft but it has a nice bit of texture to it. I cut and folded it to make a 5" x 7" card, and then fixed the image panel in place.
