Hi everyone I hope you are all managing to keep nice and warm during this cold weather we are getting just now and that you haven't had to suffer too severe conditions. We are quite lucky here on the south coast and miss most of the worst weather, it has been very cold this week though with a few frosty mornings and then a lot of rain during last night, but on the positive side there has been some beautiful sunshine in between.
On to my card, this is actually one that I made before christmas but didn't get round to blogging it then. I made it for my daughter's birthday which was between christmas and new year. The base card is an ivory DL size and the daisy was stamped onto a snippet of ivory card with black Memento ink. I coloured it with Promarkers and a white gel pen, then trimmed it and mounted it onto a snippet of blue card. It is the first time I had used this stamp from Inkylicious, (it was another of my NEC purchases back in November.) I used part of an Imagination Crafts stencil to decorate the card before adding the stamped panel with thin foam tape. The birthday greeting stamp is from Stamp Tapestry and I used slightly thicker foam pads to enable it to overlap the daisy panel.
I am going to enter this at Pixie Snippets Playground - Use Snippets CAS On Sunday- Stencil it
Fashionable Stamping - Use Something New ( the daisy stamp and the stencil are both new)

Jean, this is so clean & lovely, and that flower image is just so pretty. Great coloring of the daisies...so very delicate with the airy stems. Love the texture you've created on the background too, it's a perfect look to the wonderful flowers. So glad you got to revisit the fun you had at NEC. I'm doing visit catch up tonight, and I just saw a little cutie on your earlier post, so going to have a quick look at that post too. TFS & Hugs
